This is a story of connectedness and unconditional acceptance.
At one time or another, we have all felt different or inadequate. You may have even wondered, “What is wrong with me and how can I fix it?”
This story recognizes that each one of us, in our differences, has something important to experience. It is often our differences that propel us to live a purposeful life. We can open up a whole other side of ourselves when we understand and accept that our differences are a gift to be nurtured, rather than a weakness to be fixed. Truly accepting our differences enables us to overcome life’s challenges with love, compassion, and empathy.
We exist as a community. We are all connected to each other, and to the world as a whole. Universal harmony and unity are possible when we quiet the mind and listen from the heart.
“The quieter you become, the more you can hear.”- Ram Dass
